Camera and Storage

The Galaxy J3 features an 8-megapixel rear camera for some good quality images and videos. There is also a capable 5-megapixel sensor on the front for your selfies and video calling needs. However, you only get a rather low onboard storage of 8 GB, a portion of which would have been taken up by system resources.



The good news in term of storage, though, is that the onboard storage is expandable by up to 128 GB via the microSD card slot.

Performance and OS

A quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.2 GHz gets things running smoothly from under the hood. The CPU is partnered with a manageable 1.5 GB of RAM which should enable a bit enjoyable level of multitasking.



Samsung Galaxy J3 will boot Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, which is coated with the Korean tech company’s own TouchWiz user interface.

Other Features

Power will be supplied by a powerful 2600mAh non-removable battery, which may be considered a great offering for a smartphone that is expected to be in the budget range. You get all the usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.



Samsung Galaxy J3 comes pre-loaded with Milk Music app. It also has a Smart Manager feature for diverse purposes, including battery monitoring and virus scanning.
