However, if you have a zipped file on the internet like drivers, zipped executables etc, then the only method to extract those files is to download them and then extract them using offline tools like WinRAR, Winzip, Windows decompressor etc.
Sometimes, this process could be time consuming. And if you don't have a zip file extractor already installed, you would first need to get that. A better workaround to this process is using Wobzip.
Wobzip is a web based tool to extract compressed zip files. You can upload a zip or rar file from your PC or directly extract online compressed archives by giving URL of the file.
Wobzip supports formats such as 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS.
The service supports maximum file upload size of 100 MB. It also supports password protected files. You need to enter password of the file in the space provided before starting the decompression process.
